Many times we don’t get what we want from God so it’s easy to blame him. We don’t get the perfect husband or wife, someone else gets chosen for our dream job or we are passed over for the promotion we’ve been hoping for.
It’s okay for a baby to pout when he doesn’t get what he want, but what about the rest of us?

It’s easy to turn our back on God during those times and to hate on people that hurt us. God desires that we wait on His perfect timing and that we forgive our enemies.

When we wait on God during our temporary losses, we can expect greater blessing in the future to come. But how do we do that? 
In this episode of Soul Sessions – Daily Devotions with Pastor Trig, I talk about five principles that will wait you persevere during difficult times.

When you face a temporary set-back, know that God has not forgotten you, He is working something amazing behind the scenes. You just have to be patient and wait on the Lord.

Acts 7 says: 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; 58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
