[BLOG POST] Why I’m Trying to Forgive More Often | davidTrig
Welcome back. You belong here.
Forgiveness is slow, sometimes I forgive quickly, but most times it takes me a while to forgive. The reason is because I already gave you many chances, hundreds of chances but you keep doing your thing and finally I’m done.
But instead, I’m trying to keep short accounts. Maybe 2-3 months, hopefully 2-3 weeks, maybe 2-3 days even with the worst people.
Jesus said – forgive as you have been forgiven and here lies the problem. It takes me months, maybe years, to forgive myself. So the real problem is forgiving myself.
So how do we forgive ourselves?
#1 Meditate on the love of Jesus
#2 Dwell on the love of Jesus towards you
#3 Live in the forgiveness of Jesus towards your sin
#4 Let Jesus be in you and fill you with His forgiveness
#5 Forgive, forgive and forgive

Who is David Trigueros (Trig)?
I have been married 24 years to my beautiful wife Rachelle! We have three amazing teens, one is a top model and successful entrepreneur, another one is a compassionate soul and our young boy is a professional drummer. My wife is an amazing leader and Dean of Students at a top school in the area, I’m a pastor, musician and content creator. In 2013, I recorded my own CD of original songs, in 2014 I wrote an e-Book called “How to live an Anxiety Free Summer” and an article called “High Anxiety” for Leadership Online.
But it has not always been easy…
I grew up far from home, deal with fear and anxiety, been in counseling for many years, went through a terrible war, was unemployed for nearly a year and often feel fearful and insecure.
But through grace, love and discovering my God-given adventure I have achieved everything I want in life. Now I’m here to help you achieve GOZO JOY and succeed in life!
In 2010 I started my own coaching program Trig Coaching with thousands of views online. l love my job and now I get to do what I was created for, now I feel like I’m living on GOZO street! (GOZO btw, means JOY!)
