What got me through difficulties were a few amazing things:

1. EL Foster Elementary – It’s people, Leigh, the vision of dual language, the culture, the amazing teachers and parents, all we did with the Latino parents, great friends such as Carlos and Jenine

2. Our Neighborhood Efforts – We had parties, BBQ’s on our front lawn, piñatas, picnics at the park and so much more. We broke through

3. Colorado AID – Immigration advocates, amazing group of people committed to a common social justice cause. Immigration reform

4. Our House – My studio, our backyard, the YMCA, Soccer, Yoga, the basketball hoop, Sage, our neighbors, Gary and Donna, we had a great routine

I will miss all those things.
