Going to Russia this summer to work at a camp for orphans, seeing pictures of the Russian children, having our own children get sick and stuff, all has opened my heart to the pain children endure each day. It’s just been a strange week since our girl’s tonsilectomy/adnoinds/no-tubes. First, there’s the pain and no-sleep of the healing process. We’ve been up every night the last 7 days. Pain, crying, discomfort, medicine, crankiness, etc. and that’s just Rachelle and I! : ) Last night she was up from 3-5am. We all feel like zombies,
