Today I was listening to a speaker on how we can make a difference in the world. He said “some of you need to take your values to City Council, you need to go to your cities and make a difference. The government can’t help us, we need to help it!” 

I was moved. I would love to run for City Council, I think I just might win (I wanted to be Mayor of Arvada, CO!). The point is that I want to make a difference in the real world, it doesn’t have to be politics or city government, both in which I have zero experience, but somewhere where decisions are made that impact many people. I want to do it for the sake of beauty, hope, joy, meaning, faith and God.
