Welcome back. You belong here.
We all long for time alone with God but who has the time right? Work, home, life, grocery shopping, doctor’s appointments, it all gets in the way of prayer and meditation.
But when we keep going and never take time to be with Jesus, we run the risk of losing our focus, our joy or worst yet, we might lose our way. And even though we go to church every week or read our Bibles (maybe), going on a prayer/contemplative retreat will bring life to your weary soul.
In this episode of Pastor Trig’s Daily Devotions, I talk about 5 Ways to Take Time To Do a Prayer Retreat, they are:

  1. Choose a location
  2. Have great content
  3. Know what to expect
  4. Expect results
  5. Have a guide

My prayer is that you will consider doing something this summer to be alone with God and go on a contemplative retreat. Your soul will thank you for it.
