The recent shooting in San Bernardino has once again left many people feeling scared, mad, angry and taking sides. It’s what in today’s politically charged environment we call “leaning left or right”.
But when we choose to lean a certain way, we’re not actually growing as humans, we are reducing ourselves to a set of opinions and creeds. Of course you and I should have a back bone, a stance, a belief, but haven’t we gone too far?
In this podcast, I talk about the need to stop leaning and start believing that things can change. And I argue that what we as a country and communities need is more kindness and less violence.
These are some of the points I offer in order to Stop Leaning and Start Believing:
- Help Locally
- Educate Yourself
- Choose Kindness Over Politics
