Just in the Nick of Time [POST] by davidTrig

idioms-45-728Welcome back. You belong here.

Often we wonder, does God know the trouble I’m in? Does He know I need something and I need it now? I’m not sure I can wait any longer.

GOD will deliver you just at the right time, He will bring the deliverance and freedom you need when you least expect it, even if you can’t see how.

In Acts 12 we see how God delivered Peter from Herod’s death sentence through an angel of the Lord the night before execution. In Daniel 3, a young Daniel is in the fiery furnace, but his heart is set on God and he says, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us”. God delivered him hours later.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, “Therefore we don’t lose heart…we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

In HEBREWS 11 the author says, “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, things not seen.” In Psalm 34:7, God says – The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

God acts in miraculous ways to bring you freedom and hope, to bring you the deliverance we so desperately need just at the right time, even when we can’t see how.

Be patient, wait on God, He’s got you, He is a God of miracles and freedom, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Set your eyes on Him, not on your struggles, He will come to save you just at the right time, even when you can’t see how.

So here are some practical questions for you:
1. What is your jail today?
2. What miracle do you need from God today?
3. In what way can your struggle be a pathway to God’s purposes in you?
4. Can you say, God is a God of miracles and I believe?

My prayer for you today is that one day soon, you will be able to say as Peter said, “Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod”.

Have a great rest of this day.
